Whether you have Regular 8 or Super 8 reels, Movie2DVD can convert them!! Movie2DVD also has the capability to capture sound from Super 8 reels that have them - unfortunately, the most commonly used equipment was silent Super 8.  But background music - either songs you select, or a professional soundtrack - can be added to complete the experience! At Movie2DVD, our charge is based upon the actual minutes of video recorded - not by the size of the reel.  Reel size can be misleading, as much of the film may be blank, film with a sound strip (whether used or not) is thicker, thus reducing the amount a reel can hold. For silent film, images are captured frame by frame - an actual photograph is taken of each frame of the film, which is then compiled to create your video - no worries about image flicker!!  Only the finest equipment is used - a Workprinter XP developed by http://www.moviestuff.tv/wp_xp.html .
